The close collaboration between the Municipal Administrations of Città della Pieve, Corciano, Magione, Paciano, Panicale, Piegaro and the current manager of tourism and museum services (the join venture composed of the companies Sistema Museo and Vivi Umbria consortile), was born “Terre del Perugino-Trasimeno Musei”. The new tourism brand consists of the integrated network of museums and tourist offices in the territories of the six participating municipalities, determined to present itself to the public as a homogeneous area united by environmental, cultural, artistic and gastronomic aspects.
The main threads of this new offer are the landscapes of these lands, with Lake Trasimeno, and Pietro Vannucci, known as Perugino, the most famous citizen born in Città della Pieve, who gave prestige and fame to this strip of Umbria with his art: these two elements together make up the name of the brand.
Important news of the project are the new portal “Terre del Perugino – Trasimeno Musei” and the integrated ticket of the museum circuits of the six participating municipalities. News that will be illustrated during the presentation that will take place in Città della Pieve, in the Hall of the Muses of Palazzo Della Corgna, on March 22, 2023 at 10.30 am.
The initiative will see the participation of the Municipal Administrators and Sistema Museo together with the consortium Vivi Umbria.
