New technologies at the service of art

“Perugino come non l’hai mai visto” is a project with a strong cultural and popular value that uses new technologies to communicate the work by Pietro Vannucci in new forms and with a great impact. It presents the main works realized by the master that are still preserved in Umbria, as well as those now preserved abroad as a result of dispersions, in particular because of the Napoleonic requisitions. The purpose is to make known to a large public the paintings present and scattered on the Umbrian territory, favoring the knowledge of the artist and the activation of virtuous routes and itineraries in Umbria, and to spread the knowledge of the works by Perugino kept outside the Umbria region. With the intention of creating an “animated square”, in the lodges of the Department of Physics and Geology the main works by the artist present on the Umbrian territory are represented “full screen”: a synthetic narrative, with lettering in animation, traces the production of the Divine Painter visiting the places in which he has branched his activity.
