It will take place Friday, April 28 the initiative organized in synergy between the City Administration, Department of Culture and AMAB – Assisi Exhibition Antiques Bastia Umbra in the city center of Bastia Umbra. Focus on the 500th anniversary of Perugino’s death.
On April 28, from 3 pm, in Santa Croce, the visit of the works of contemporary artists to the Divine Painter present in Bastia Umbra: Tiberius of Assisi, Niccolò di Liberatore known as Alunno. Carlo Bizzarri, expert in Local History, will accompany visitors to the discovery of the artistic works kept in the Collegiate Church of Santa Croce.
A conference on the topic will follow at 4 pm at the Auditorium Sant’Angelo, with Veruska Picchiarelli, art historian of the Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria and co-curator of the exhibition “Il meglio maestro d’Italia. Perugino nel suo tempo”, and Alessandro Delpriori, researcher in History of Modern Art at the University of Camerino.
The afternoon will end with a visit to the exhibition dedicated to Pietro Vannucci at the Galleria Nazionale dell’Umbria, that visitors will reach by own means and, remember, by reservation.
